Weight Limits
ARTICLE VII § 158-25. Purpose. The purpose of this Article is to provide for the restriction of motor vehicles with a gross weight limit of twenty-eight thousand (28,000) pounds or more from driving or parking on certain residential streets due to the damage and noise they create. § 158-26. Designated streets. No person shall drive, operate or park a motor vehicle with a registered gross vehicle weight of twenty-eight thousand (28,000) pounds or more upon any street listed below in the Town of Fort Fairfield except those vehicles that are providing a service to a residence on that street, such as a delivery or emergency vehicle. 15806 Listing of Streets Arch Street § 158-27. Violations and penalties Any persons found driving or parking a motor vehicle described in §158-26 shall be deemed guilty of a civil violation and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding one hundred dollar ($100.) for each offense.
