School Consolidation Process - Regional School Unit Implementation
Recommendations to the Town Council and School Board
Establish a process for decision-making
Ultimately it is the School Board that will present to the Commissioner of Education a plan for reorganization for Fort Fairfield. To create this plan it is recommended that we consider the following:
Reorganization Planning Committee – will be our negotiating teamThe Negotiating Team – John Herold, Dan Foster, Larry GirvanThe Council will select a councilor and a citizen at large
The School Board will select a member of their Board
Community Committee – which the Reorganization Planning Committee will report to and take direction from.
Town Council, School Board, Town Manager, School Superintendent, Jeanette Condon, J R JcGillan, Rob Langner and Jeff Ashby representing the community.
