Library

The Fort Fairfield Public Library was built in 1913 by R.J. Noise of Augusta, ME.

Our library is a Carnegie library. It has a collection of approximately 20,000 books, movies, and books on tape. There are four Internet accessible computers available with color printer capability (1st five pages are free). We have an annual circulation of 20,000 items with 50 periodicals and 4 newspapers. Also available are several movies (both VHS & DVD) as well as audio books.

If you want a quiet place to work or read, the library provides excellent facilities.

A community room with a large conference area and a kitchenette is a available for local groups and organizations. Please call or email for reservations.

The library is in need of volunteers for a variety of tasks as well as ideas for additional programs. Please call or email for further information.
